Lexie: Lexie’s Early Birthday Surprise(S)!!

Our journey with Lexie as a Raindancer began like this..”Reaching out to see if there is an opportunity to bring joy to my 16 year old daughter.” How blessed and honored are we, that we are the hands of feet of generous souls who make it possible for us to say, “why yes, of course.” Lexie is amazing. Her family is amazing. They have rallied around each other and they constantly choose hope. Lexie’s world was turned upside down last year when she was diagnosed with a rare, life threatening auto-immune disorder called HAE. Today, ironically, or most likely, completely not ironically, is HAE Awareness Day. To show Lexie how much we support her, my next post will be Lexie’s actual post about HAE awareness Day, please comment on it and show this amazing girl some love and encouragement. NOW about Lexie’s special EARLY BIRTHDAY SURPRISESSSSSS!

Lexie LOVESSS Rascal Flatts! So on her ACTUAL birthday she and her family, and a few friends will be going to see them in style…as VIPSll! Woohoo! Rascal Flatts’ actual touring team was so generous to give her 6 VIP Experience Passes! So this girl will actually get to mingle with Rascal Flatts on her BIRTHDAY! Bonefish Grill in Gainesville gave the family a $300 dinner certificate to use on the big day as well!

Because of other generous and AMAZZZING people, Lexie will also be going to see Luke Bryan this summer, received a brand new Apple Laptop to use for school work (which will be great since she is sometimes homebound), and her and her momma were given TWO spa day passes courtesy of Tranquility Day Spa in Haymarket! We couldn’t leave her biggest fan out, of course. Her brother, Jason, has been known to say that he would take this on himself if he could. What a hero. Raindancer siblings are true heroes. Jason and his dad were given a foursome to an area golf course so that he can hit his BRAND new clubs that were donated by a very special local family!! He was so very excited. He of course will also be going to the concerts with Lexie and Pev’s Paintball also donated 4 passes to him and his dad as well. Generosity is present and ALIVE people.

Joy, Pure, healing JOY…that was our original mission with this sweet girl, and I’d say…mission accomplished. The next day her mom sent a text and said “Lexie floated out the door this morning, and Jay can’t wait to use his new clubs.” Joy sure does have the power to lift the heavy weights of this world, doesn’t it…
